Tangled Rocks

So, I got together with a group and we tried out some tangling on soe AZ river rocks that I prepped just for the occasion. Here is our result. I am pretty happy with how they all turned out! I guess if I wanted to be a little corny, I could say, " Nikol, Nancy, Fran, Linda, and Jean, you ROCK!

    Jane, how did you prep the rocks prior to tangling on them? I have tried tangling rocks from a Florida beach with mixed success.
    By the way, I love the coloured rocks - usually I never think to use more than black.
    Did you use any special pens?

    They were prepped with either matte spray or gesso before tangling with Microns and Sharpies.
